"IDENTITIES" Journal for Politics, Gender and Culture (ISSN 1857- 8616)

A brief history

Identities: Journal for Politics, Gender, and Culture was founded in 2001 by Katerina Kolozova and Žarko Trajanoski, as a project supported by the Swedish Foundation Kvinna till Kvinna, carried out by the Research Center for Gender Studies which functioned as autonomous project of the OSI within the framework of the International Center for European Culture - Euro-Balkan. In the year 2007 it continued to be published by Euro-Balkan Press. After a hiatus of almost two years, the founders have decided to continue the publication of the journal with a new publisher - the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities - Skopje. The founding members of the Journal's Advisory Board (Judith Butler, Jack Halberstam, Joan Copjec, Svetlana Slapšak, Marina Gržinić, Rosi Braidotti) have unanimously expressed agreement with this decision.

The new issues of the Journal will be available for purchasing online in a print on demand format, here on the Journal's new website.
